The British Red Cross, together with Revive, Rainbow Haven and Refugee Action, have secured over £2 million of lottery funding to help refugees and asylum seekers over a five year period.

The money will allow the new partnership project (starting July 2015) to make a huge difference to some of the most vulnerable in Bolton, Oldham, Salford and Manchester.

The project aims to provide a more welcoming environment for refugees and asylum seekers, enabling their voices to be heard and having a positive influence on local and national policies.
