ASHA’s 10th Anniversary

We set up on 6 October 2004 and since then have seen more than 5,300 clients from 80 different countries of origin. As a result of our work we have made over 2,400 successful applications for support under Section 4 of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999 and obtained over 7,000 HC2 certificates for full help with primary care health costs.

    Thanks for the invite indeed ASHA should be celebrating it s a great achievement and so much work has been done and made such a difference to so many lives from the service. I am now going to pray for heavy rain as I am manager /coach of a girls football team and we have a match at that time on a Saturday so will have to be there unless rain stops play very sorry to miss it if I do !

    I have told the WAST women already but will remind them as I am sure Agnes will as well .

    If theres any thing else I can do to help for the celebration let me know

  2. Looking forward to this, much deserved and worthy of a proper fanfare. Not many celebrations happen in this line of work but we need to sometimes give praise, nourishment and thanks – that too is very important.
