Sleep Out Against Destitution

Student Action for Refugees (STAR) and Amnesty International have teamed up to hold a sleep out against destitution on Friday 14 March 2014 from 7.30pm at  Manchester Universities’ Catholic Chaplaincy (opposite the Students’ Union, 355 – 359 Oxford Road, Manchester)


Please come and show your support! Free food, speeches from Dave Smith of the Boaz Trust, Kate Green MP, United for Change, music from Sobi, Oh Man, the Mountain and more!

§  Campaigning against destitution of refused asylum seekers;

§  For a fairer asylum system;

§  For the right to work after 6 months; and

§  Provide a decent rate of financial support to asylum seekers

Bring yourself, or if you’re sleeping out bring a sleeping bag, layers and snacks.
